Pre-Teen Etiquette & Dance
The mission of Cotillion Austin-Style is to provide training in basic etiquette, communication skills, and social dance to boys and girls 10-13 years old. SMSD Cotillion students learn how to treat themselves and others with dignity and respect, resulting in better relationships in and outside of the dance studio and the family circle. We have 40+ years of experience in cotillion in Austin, TX, helping kids develop confidence through education in dance and manners!
Each Student Will
Make new friends (constant changing of partners)
Gain confidence and poise
Learn to dance (Cha Cha, Two Step, Waltz, Line Dance, Fox Trot, Fifties Dances)
Become more comfortable in social situations
Learn to make introductions
Learn about table manners and table settings
Have FUN!
Fall Session Registration is OPEN!
Tuition
Current members/immediate family of SMSD member: $260. Non-member: $285.
$100 non-refundable deposit charged upon registration. Balance will be charged September 15.
Sample Class Schedule
We offer two classes in the fall. Classes meet on Sunday afternoons either from 2-3:30pm or 4-5:30pm. *Occasionally a date may need to be changed.
Sept 27: Regular Class
Oct 4: Country Western Party
Oct 18: Table Settings
Oct 25: 50's Party
Nov 8: Graduation
